Its home time, I survived another day..
after
a) telling everyone in the caf about Janes grandbaby when I congratulated her, and it was supposed to be a secret
b) opening thousands of returned mail envelopes to remove the BRE's
c) almost cutting my face off with the letter opener
d) jamming the paper shredder
e) jamming the photcopier
I think Im beginning to realize that I am not cut out for an office job after all..
Poor office friends having to put up with me.. all summer..

The First Friday
Its 9:37 and this is my first break in the day :) which makes me increibly happy because its making time fly by! And this is my first friday as well, which is exciting because it means the weekend is on the way.
It was a rough start to the week, as you can see from the previous post. But now, living in the new house with the girls, things picking up at work where I get to actually do things, life feels much better.
Yesterday I wasnt sure what I was going to do, I sat at my desk from 8:30 until 12:30 and did nothing but stalk people on facebook and talk on MSN, oh and then because I wanted to feel somewhat productive, I looked at all the stories on CNN anc CTV News. Fun, I know!
Then when I got back from lunch I had a million and one things to do on my desk, stuffing envelopes, creating new databases, emailing people and calling donors. That filled up my afternoon, but the day still crawled by. Michelle and I think that it was the slowest day in the history of life.
Then at night we lazed around in the living room, something that will happen a lot Im guessing. And my mom called so I talked to her for a bit, which was nice, decided that Im going to go home tonight :D free food!! Then Lance called, which was a nice surprise, made my night possibly! And Im headed there on Saturday. So its going to be a fun weekend, at least I think so. Sunday is church on the rock, which Im pumped for, I need a good God-time. Im so thankful right now for the people God has placed around me and the way in which he has helped out huge in some, correction, in every situation!
So as I sit here and wait for 4:30 to come, I think Im going to go and do some of those teen quizzes on Seventeen. They always seem to make time fly by!
I feel a little sorry for all of you who read this, as the title says though, it is the summer RAMBLINGS of an office slave. So its just something for me to do to kill the time inbetween the tasks Im handed, like this one right now... Im off to the paper shredder :S
